A Case Study - EcoKnow is an innovative awareness campaign with a three-tiered approach. The first tier focuses on promoting and ensuring active participation in green initiatives, particularly addressing plastic pollution. The second tier aims to encourage sustainable consumption by promoting eco-friendly products and understanding the disconnect between consumers' positive attitudes and their purchasing behaviors. The third tier seeks to develop a lasting educational methodology that effectively engages and informs the public.
The core challenge of this case study was straightforward: how can we engage people to take our message seriously while fostering sustained interest? - Images displayed here from part of the solution -
We approached this awareness campaign as if it were a struggling brand. Our role as the brand design, strategy, 3D, content, and marketing team was to revitalize and rejuvenate it.
Complementing our key messaging, we developed a plan to incentivize public participation in the awareness campaign. Participants were rewarded with 3D-printed items made from the plastic they helped recycle. We believed this approach would be effective because the 3D-printed items would offer immediate utility without contributing to further environmental harm.
